![]() Basically 5 months living like this and it just gets better for us. We bought the unit the 3rd weekend in May this year and Chad moved in June 1st, I followed June 28 after our house and possessions were sold. Winterizing for winter has taken another month, with us just working on the weekends. We did the wallpaper, flooring and basic tear down in one weekend and then it took another month when I finally moved in to finish all of the décor and tile work. I received no extra discounts because of my business, I’m not a retailer but a decorator/consultant/installer. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that at all, it is just interesting to see furniture pieces shopped out and placed so well, as an alternative to self built works). As a home designer/builder and interior designer, I find it fascinating when someone pulls off making a tiny house look like a suburban “small” house and utilize small spaces here and there within with the addition of furniture items, rather than self made pieces. Clever design ideas, great use of color and use of more residential pieces … Brilliant. What I WANTED to say was, you’ve done a great job with this renovation.
